Flashing Motherboard BiOS

I finally think I may have isolated the problem to my computer not being able to boot after I upgraded to the Gigabyte Z68 Mobo, Ivy bridge i5 3570K and the Corsair H100.

It turns out that the build I put together with the Motherboard I won from HotHardware is a Z68 chipset that is compatible with the ivy-bridge processor I'm using but it came out before ivy bridge did.

Because of that, it only works through a BIOS update.
The thing is, how the heck am I supposed to update the BIOS without having a processor it can use?
Does anyone know of anything or is my only possible solution to buy or get my hands on an 1155 Sandy Bridge to apply the Bios update and then swap up the Ivy-bridge? 

Id contact Gigabyte the might be able to send you a "new" bios chip. 

It's a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P Rev 1.0 and I just emailed Gigabyte to see if they could do anything, hopefully they'll be able to help!

If Gigabyte doesn't help you there is always THIS solution, OSunday.

Is that reliable or trustworthy?
I'd always feel hesitant about plugging something from Ebay haha

I've never even taken a look at the actual Bios chips, is it something that sort of just plug and play that I could swap out?
If this does turn out to be a working solution, you just saved me about a hundred or so I was planning to spend on a sandy bridge i3 

Well customer service told me that all they could do was let me RMA the board which just sounds like a hassle, do you think I should order that exact chip you linked me?

Id just RMA it with them that way if it fails again your covered. 

Well I just read that the Bios chip is soldered onto the board so replacing just the Bios chip would be a hassle.

And the board hasn't failed, it's just not compatible with my processor without a Bios update. 

I agree with Der Meister - an RMA would be the easiest and the safest way, especially since it is soldered.

Just an update, this past week I finally brought my desktop up with me from school after spring break and I sent the board back for RMA.
Hopefully I'll have my desktop up and running soon!

Hopefully you get it back quick fixed or another board without the problem. Buddy of mine bought a Gigabyte 7950 and it worked but when you loaded the drivers it did not crash but put lines everywhere on the screen. He called them up and they let him do cross ship and had his new card within a week or so. They actually send him the new revision card. He had taken pictures and when we had compared them they actually got him a newer one which I thought was pretty cool but im sure that is just what they had in stock.
