A very interesting development, with a good explanation in the PhysOrg article to which Ray, notwithstanding possible Christmas cheer, did indeed provide a link. Hope to soon see practical applications of this technology !...
This all sounds good, but lets remember why we don't use solar energy in every house. They just flat out cost too much. Hopefully they've found a way to make them not only post-it like but also cheap.
But making the cells mobile, flexible and able to adhere to almost any surface should in fact go a long way toward reducing installation costs, which, as I understand, represent no small part of total costs. This is exciting work !...
