In a pinch? Your headset may be the fastest way to call for help.
Scary situation, but awesome outcome. My grandpa owned a small car lot years ago and had masked gunmen come in there and rob here while my grandmother was out getting lunch. They took all his gold, cash, taped him to a chair, and put him in the bathroom; Where my grandmother eventually found him after coming back from lunch. After that incident there was a gun in every bathroom, the kitchen, in every desk drawer, and a sawed off shotgun on a pivot mount underneath the desk.
Fortunately no one ever attempted to rob him at gunpoint again, and the guns were eventually removed after he passed away. Now my stepfather runs the place, and keeps a small pistol in his pocket at all times. You just never know when you're going to need a gun, or in this case, an xbox.
Hahaha the gun to Xbox comparison is a bit of a jump.
I feel like it's not a bad idea for a majority of people to have a tazer in their house since it can equally neutralize and surprise a person and it's harder to accidentally fatally injure yourself or others as well.
Not to mention pulling a gun on someone can cause them to escalate the situation and pull out a gun as well... I don't think anyone is trying to have any western style showdowns in their homes.
It's awesome to see technology used in a constructive way like this but on the same not I feel like XBL or online gaming services used to contact the authorities or send for help will be a pretty isolated and rare thing
Dorkstar, a sawed off shotgun on a pivot mount?? Your grandpa was a badass LOL

He was a hard ass. To tell you the truth my grandmother was scarier than he was, but at the end of the day, he had the gun.
If anything the gun was probably to just level the playing field... No one wants to mess with a scary Grandma lol
Well, I suppose that it would work if you were playing with a friend that lived close, but I play games with aussies, and brits, and theres no way they could call the cops for me XD

I'm still not going to buy an X-Box,...................LOL!
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.

Do I need to get you one of those life alert necklaces for Christmas?
Nope, I have four dogs and a very fast 12 gauge shotgun to even the playing field.
My wife has a pistol that she shoots expert with too.
So an Xbox 360 isn't even worth stealing. Good to know.

Haha! why didn't he ust use a phone?
He was playing x-box when the guys broke in, after they robbed him, they tied him up with duct tape, so i imagine he had the headset on the entire time.
