Like many companies, Samsung is gearing up for CES 2013. There has been plenty of speculation as to when Samsung will officially unveil the follow up to its flagship Galaxy S III smartphone. Most rumors suggest Samsung will unveil the phone either at CES in January or at Mobile World Congress in February.
Although details are relatively sparse, Samsung is trying to increase buzz surrounding the company's upcoming announcement(s) for CES with the release of a new video. Some people are speculating the video alludes to a new phone while others wonder if it could be a completely different product such as a high-end television or something else.
Samsung's Galaxy S IV smartphone is rumored to feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, giving the phone a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch. It's possible the phone could also make use of a new flexible display technology that will help protect the screen from breaks. The smartphone reportedly will feature a quad-core Exynos processor and 4G LTE connectivity.
I paused it around 11 seconds to see what in the world flashed behind the text. It appears to just be some city buildings. Regardless of when it's released, i'm excited to check it out! I'm ready to move on to something other than Apple, and the S III almost had me. The S IV has caught me attention with it's high resolution display and 13 mp camera, not to mention the processing power this beast will have.
Wow this year went so fast, I can't believe CES is just around the corner again! I'M READY!!!

One of the more informative videos I've ever seen ! Now I'm aware that 8 January, 9 January, 10 January, and 11 January 2013 will, indeed, take place, despite all the ballyhoo about the Mayan calender «ending». Thanks, Sammy - that was good to know !...

I'm sure that someone from HotHardware will be there with bells on. We'll hear all about it.

realneil: I'm sure that someone from HotHardware will be there with bells on. We'll hear all about it.
Is there a particular reason why they'd be wearing bells?
Couldn't quite manage to put them on the cat....
I'm sure we can count on the Galaxy S IV being there but what I'm hoping for is something along the lines of the rumored "unbreakable" flexible displays we've been hearing about
