Kudos to Samsung for not resting on its laurels with what many would consider the best Android smartphone on the market (and you could argue it doesn't need the "Android" qualifier). We're of course talking about the Galaxy S III, and along with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which both T-Mobile and AT&T have pushed out, Samsung is upping the ante with a Premium Suite upgrade.

The Premium Suite upgrade applies to Galaxy S III devices running Jelly Bean and a includes a bunch of enhancements. Some of the highlights include:
  • Page Buddy
  • Contexual Menu
  • Contexual Tag
  • Multi Windo
  • Auto Share Shot Paring using NFC
  • Reader Mode
  • Face Lock Ticker

The embedded YouTube video above covers the fancy features included in the Premium Suite upgrade. One of the neatest is the Multi Window mode, which allows you to split the screen into a top half and bottom half. Using Mutli Window mode, you can run and manipulate two apps at the same time.

Sprint also has started deploying the update btw. I have had it on my phone for almost a month.

Face book ticker?  I just picture some guy in front of 3 monitors watching their friends post per minute on facebook tick by on the NYSE or something.
