Pretty crazy how he was one of the pioneers and yet his company wasn't ready when the age of digital cameras hit. The man definitely made an impact, but the people above him were too blind to see advantages other than just licensing the tech.
History is written by the victor, and in this case, the victor was all of the massive corporations that gutted this mans ideas for money. It's more popular than you think, and its kind of sad.
