That HTPC looks pretty sexy. But I feel like anybody that would want that much performance, would also want some expandability/upgrades later. But I sure as hell wouldn't complain if someone got me this as a gift.
So what are your picks in the $500-800 range?
lol, I like first sentence on the M18,"If price is no object, and high frame rates are a necessity, this is your machine." So there went 80% of the gaming community on that one. Personally, I've never had long term success with laptops, the just seem to start "breaking down" as time goes, getting slower for no good reason. I'm with CDeeter on this one, whats the pick between $500-$800, that's about the max I would spend on a machine that I don't plan on being able to use in 3 years.
Btw that was a serious question, not busting on ya Ray. I'm planning on buy my daughter a new laptop for Christmas.
