New rumors suggest Samsung may be planning to reveal the successor to its very popular Galaxy S III smartphone at CES in January. Referred to as the Galaxy S IV, the new smartphone is said to have a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch. This display could support a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Screen size is a definite focus among many Android smartphone manufacturers today. Given that Samsung's competition in the smartphone market such as HTC, Sony, and LG have announced and/or launched 5-inch full HD displays, it's not hard to believe Samsung is working on something similar. The Galaxy S IV is also said to feature a quad-core Exynos processor and 4G LTE capabilities.
Previous rumors suggested Samsung might reveal its Galaxy S IV smartphone at Mobile World Congress in February with a possible launch date in March. Samsung has denied all rumors. Regardless, you can bet we'll keep our ears to the ground for any and all news surrounding this upcoming smartphone.
Why does this website have the worst "mobile" mode of any website? Can someone please tell me why it isn't being fixed.
I like the mobile version of this website, only thing that would make it nicer is if they allow posting while in mobile mode.
I wonder what samsung is going do to top their previous phones, they have already made several great phones.
Better bust out the piggy bank.
Gonna watch for this phone...or maybe wait for a Note 3? lol since I'm stuck with my HTC Desire for 8 months still, guess I have time to watch all the rumors fly around. I'd have to see the 1080p screen firsthand before I'm sold on the benefits of pushing all those extra pixels.

Samsung certainly seems to be on a roll - it will be interesting to see what they come up with ! Not least whether they can present something new on the battery front - those new screens are going to suck a lot of energy....
