Welcome to HotHardware.

This isn't really a gaming rig, but it's a great little HTPC. It can mount to the rear of your screen with the VESA mounts and then it's hidden.

Good luck in the contest.

I would be able to install Steam on this, and make it my Indie game playing PC. Also to watch netflix.

Hmm seems like a cool design, but will it overheat from over use? Itd be really cool to have though

Sounds like an awesome idea. I hope the memory is expandable or perhaps I can connect a 2T hard drive? I have a lot of movies!

such small size can fit into palm of my hand, I don't mind place it next to my 55" TV and use it as HTPC, just add a bluetooth keyboard or mouse, and I can surf the internet on TV...amazing...

I'm hoping the ATI graphics are enough to play back HD content. This little box looks like it's a good entry level HTPC.

This Zbox has both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, a 7-in-1 memory card reader (SD/SDHC/SDXC/MS/MS Pro/xD/MMC) and eSATA port, not to mention Bluetooth, WIFI and Ethernet connection. I am amazed such small footprint can pack so many features!

Sweeet~ with the size, you can carry it almost anywhere but one thing that bothers me is the heat it would produce when used in a longer time.

In some ways this would be an upgrade for me... This machine has a better hard drive than mine, USB 3, and an sd reader. I think the sd slot would be super handy cause then I wouldn't have to hunt down my sd-usb adapter every time I needed to use it.

I would love him and hug him and call him George! But I wouldn't banish him to the bedroom, living it up in the living room for my little guy! =)

ZOTAC ZBOX nano AD12 Plus comes with all the connectivity I could wish for a nano PC, but I am not sure if AMD Radeon HD 7340 can handle basic gaming in mid-resolution...

You're right, it's not a gaming box, but it would make an awesome HTCP and general purpose PC. I think that today is the last day to throw your hat into the ring for this little PC.

So good luck to all of you again!

Have a contractor starting an accessibility project here Monday morning, so I have a lot to do to get ready for him to start.

I'll check every now and then.
