I really don't see anybody remotely knowledgeable about what they're buying without a Windows Tablet going for Metro.  It's basically an added step to all the things a desktop/laptop user wants to do, and looks garish as all hell.  I don't think it's going to be so much about Linux taking over as it will be Windows 7 dominating until they get their act together and release W9 or fix W8.

The answer is no. Windows is too embedded into the lives of most normal people to be replaced by Linux. I'm afraid there are many people who wouldn't even know what Linux is.

Not next year and not in 10 years. It will become more common but the average user will not switch from Windows or Mac OS.

Yes, Journalism is suffering from serious integrity issues. (or they're just stupid)

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.

Thank you!  Then again, informal polls are showing we get the journalism (and governments and products) we deserve...

ROFL...

As the biggest Linux aficionado here... I was sad I was going to have to come into this thread and ask you if you were smoking crack.  When I saw the actual content was from Cracked, I fell over laughing.

What part of "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" don't you understand?
