Dell kept in mind that everyone has different preferences for the size, angle, and feel of their monitors when creating its six new displays. The eco-conscious P-series and E-series displays come in 19- and 22-inch models with a variety of formats, including 1440x900 (16:10), 1280x1024 (5:4), and 1680x1050 (16:10).

The displays are backlit LEDs with low-profile mounts and boast 16.7 million color depth, and both come loaded with Dell’s Display Manager, which offers color presets and PowerNap. The E-series displays feature DVI and VGA connectivity, while the P-series monitors have USB, DVI, VGA, and DisplayPort onboard.

The P-series monitors also feature a stand with adjustable height and the ability to pivot, swift, and tilt to match the user’s preferred angles.

The 19-inch P1913 and P1913S displays cost $189 and $229, respectively, and the 22-inch P2213 is $239. The 19-inch and 22-inch E1913, E1913S, and E2213 models are $159, $179, and $199. All six are available now.

The P series displays offer a variety of convenient connectivity options including USB, DVI, VGA and DisplayPort 1.2, making them a perfect companion for any platform or system, as well as high dynamic contrast ratios that help produce amazing and vivid color details such as deep blacks and bright whites especially for moving images. Dell’s P and E series monitors place user comfort at a premium. The new P series feature an improved height adjustment range, providing optimal viewing height for a wide range of people and the E series offers the essential features at a great value. Both series include 16:10 and 5:4 format 19-inch options and a 16:10 format 22-inch option, meaning that customers can choose the right viewing pane for their needs and not the other way around. I must confess that I really do get pissed off become irritated when I see firms like Dell release specifications for monitors which omit (deliberately, IMHO) an essential piece of information, i e, the panel type. I don't know if it would be possible for Seth and other adminstrators at HH to always request this information from the firms in question before announcing or reviewing the product on the website....
