Killer gaming notebooks, sort of like over-the-top gaming PCs, make no apologies for being almost completely impractical but full of awesome.  Sure, you wouldn't expect to drag this boat anchor around airports at almost 12 lbs., unless you were looking for some moderate cardio work to compensate for those long, near motionless strategy meetings.  And you wouldn't expect to remain untethered from the wall for very long, during those all night frag-a-thons, though you might get away with it under a little less strenuous web browsing stroll.

Two questions Dave:

1. When is the gtx 680m performance review coming?

2. Exactly what settings did you use with Batman benchmark? Not easy to catch what in the video. :)

2 - 1920X1080, FXAA set to High, High IQ, All DX11 effects On/High, NVIDIA PhysX On/High - 57FPS

Dave, a further question - what type of panel does this 17.3" display use - Tn, IPS, PLS, etc ?....

I'm not completely sure but I believe so, yes. Will ask Dell. It certainly looks to be IPS quality.

Hi there i want to buy the Alienware M17x with the GTX 660M inside but i dont know if i can upgrade my GPU to GTX 680M later?

Is that possible?

Will i have any issues with my PSU or the drivers

Please Help
