This is interesting and I would say upsetting to a point for me personally. Several years ago I worked on a crew to refurb a local Walmart. When it finished and I did not feel like going back on the road I worked there for about 6 months in the electronics department while I was looking for another job. During this time I suggested to my manager as well as following that someone in development for Walmart about them offering an internet retail division specifically targeted at computers and peripherals. As a reasoning point I pointed out online mega retailers Newegg and TigerDirect and that type of retail model. I know it was submitted to development within Walmart. However; I also know that previous manager, is probably now in jail for CC fraud from what I have heard when I talked to people who worked there with me. The crazy part is the distributors, Cyberpower is privately owned, but iBuyPower has always been rumored to be a part of the NewEgg parent company, and the coincidence is really to valid to deny.
