ahahaha wow "Require an always-on Internet connection" so PC isnt the only thing with DRM companies are becoming more and more crappy -_-
It's sad that instead of getting excited about the new consoles I get discouraged when I see these articles. These companies need to get it together, the customer/end user comes first. It's still early so I hope a lot of these issues get resolved before launch.
Now you're just mashing it!
Makes me not want to purchase the next-gen system if I have to have big brother looking over my shoulder whenever I play Duke Nukem Forever IV. I agree with the whole lawsuit thing... by torpedoing the second-hand game market MS and Sony may just get torpedoed through 'First Sale' doctrine. Not a lawyer. Nor do I play one on Radio, TV, nor the internet.
I'm so happy I game on my pc.
Well... It looks like they're gearing up to release consoles that'll last them to the next generation or further; Both Microsoft and Sony's offerings look tempting but I wouldn't buy if they locked us out; sure, the method is broken but GameStop is more to fault for milking the method for what it is rather then changing with the times; I mean they have a cornerstone in the used games market making more pure profit then new games with exaggerated prices, that's disgraceful. And even if the used games market collapses, they have the cornerstone in preorder bonuses to games. What I think needs to be done is get rid of GameStop and just let local game store competition thrive again, that or at least let local game stores in on the preorder bonuses, more fairness, more competition, everybody's happy.
The Wii U touchscreen restrictions is worrisome but I don't know why they don't include a way for another controller. Technical limitations maybe but adding another controller is incredibly easy if your Nintendo.
