This makes me very sad, and no doubt tons of other people waiting for IVY-Bridge as well...
Come on Intel!
Well, VR-Zone stated they believes the desktop chips are still coming out in April or at least Intel's partners will have early access to them to show off their new motherboards at CeBIT next month.
While the delay can help Intel get better drivers ready for release, since there tends to be bugs with the initial releases.
Hopefully, they'll get them out before Windows 8...
And let's face it, unfortunately they really have no need to rush this chip out the door until AMD catches up. Maybe that will be Piledriver, maybe not, but until then Intel really is under no pressure.
I wonder how much performance will actually be gained from the 32 to 22 switch...
