Although Samsung has already made it known that the company won't be announcing the highly-anticipated Galaxy S III smartphone at Mobile World Congress this year, that hasn't stopped specs of this hot phone from leaking onto the web.
One of the reasons Samsung isn't planning to announce the Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress is because it wants to shorten the gap between announcing the phone and actually launching it around the world. When the time comes, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S III in over 50 markets or cities simultaneously.
Some of the reported specs for the Samsung Galaxy S III include a 4.8-inch full HD 1080p resolution display with 16:9 aspect ratio, a ceramic back, 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, Android 4.0, 4G LTE, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and more. It's hard to say exactly what type of display the Samsung Galaxy S III will employ, but there's talk about a Super AMOLED Plus HD screen.
4.8 inch screen!! wow thats big! You know what they say about men with large phone ;)
They have large pockets?
The form factor is actually similar to the existing i727, just with much smaller bezels. Even though the screen is larger, the phone itself isn't...

plz 2 have now
I would find it odd looking to have a screen fitted like that, almost no bezel on the sides but 2 on the top and bottom. Make it no bezel all around :P
4.8-inches is just nuts. Not interested. Too big for the pocket. 4.3 is perfect. Even my 4.5" Infuse 4G is too big in my opinion.

If it's going to be a global launch, it may be a while because the Exynos CPU is not currently compatible with LTE, to release it now they would have to go with a Snapdragon CPU, like they did in the AT&T Note. Speaking of which, I LOVE my Note, don't write it off so quickly Dave, I thought it would be too big but then I saw it and, well, I was hooked.
I hope we dont get the AT&T (aka rubbish) version. Them and their stupid four buttons! Search is useless! Get rid of it! MCook, the LTE compatible one is already being tested, its just not ready yet.
Here's another leak from Samsung, do you think it's real though? Link here.
