lol paul that was slick bro i almost didn't notice but good catch. we would have been heart broken if you were fifty dollars off. this is a great computer it actuall looks like what i want mine to be, i just bought that same proccesor its in the mail and i can't even fathom what i am goning to do when i get it. I haven't decided what type of mother board i am going to use though.
Any suggestions?
Decent system. Aknudon, i have a asrock board right now and it hasnt done me wrong. Look up benchmarks and reviews on the new am3+ boards to see which ones are good.
I say people that know tiger direct and/or newegg should be building their own systems :)
For 700 that is a very respectable price. I would imagine that the extra $30 might be for Tigerdirect. But all in all not a bad system. Ibuypower also does a nice job on all the the machines they make.

2700K
Z77 GIGABYTE G1.SNIPER
GIGABYTE GTX670
G.Skill Ripjaws X 16gb PC2133
Antec P280
Corsair H100
Asus Blu-ray burner
Seasonic X650 PSU
Patriot Pyro 128gb SSD
This actually makes good sense as Tiger already sells stuff I got my mom a Dell refurb off of there several years back and while it is about due for a replacement it worked great for 3 years now!
I agree, not a bad price point. Maybe upgrade to an AMD Radeon HD 6850 graphics card or higher, then you'll have a pretty good gaming machine.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
Ibuypower isnt good for where they cut corners. SOmetimes the no names PSUs are good, other times... not at all.
Man that rig looks pretty freaking sweet i would totally buy. Better deal than what i paid for my pc 3 years ago and it was custom built
Great price for this entry level pre built gaming rig.
Does it have USB 3.0? If not, that would be a deal breaker. Shame too, because aside from the exclusion of that, it's a good value. I especially appreciate that the case isn't obnoxious looking, which is rare for this price range.
However, Black Friday weekend was really the time to buy a cheap, prebuilt system.
You could've gotten this for $570

Or this for $459

He Thanks Lle Compte i was actually looking at an asrock board but i couldn't decide if it would do good, its good to know that it has some reliability.
Meh...they probably cheaped out on the PSU, and given how most games are GPU-limited I'd have liked a more potent card in there to help out the lackluster FX cpu. It shouldn't be hard to toss in a 6850 instead, with the new AMD cards coming out in just a few weeks. Heck the same Tiger Direct (at least where I live) now have GTX550 Ti going for $99.,
