Very nice and WP7 really does seem like an OS that can compete with the likes of iOS and Android. The question is of course if Microsoft and Nokia can market it well enough. I am kind of hoping that they are not too late for breaking into this market. It would be nice to have some more choices especially at the enterprise level with blackberry slowly fading away.
The Windows Phone 7 has been hyped as somewhat of a comeback for Nokia. I mean back in the early 2000's they dominated the phone market (with both cheap and smartphones) but as time went on and as Smartphone OS's evolved, it seemed like Nokia's presence in the phone market began to fade until it was where it was today, barely recognizable.
There have been many attempts, from Symbian to MeeGo but none of them have been able to take off and rejuvinate Nokia as they hoped they would...
So this is it, a beginning of what hopefully should be a new era from Nokia. Don't get me wrong, Windows Phone 7 does have potential but it too doesn't have the impact that it has in the smartphone market, despite it being a decent OS. I am severly hoping that the combination of Windows Phone 7 and Nokia are hopefully able to rejuvinate both. I mean the smartphones up there look pretty cool, if the reviews for them are good and if the sales are high then this little partnership will work out for both of them...
