Yeah would have to agree. When was the last time you thought of buying a 480GB SSD ? But then again, you know what your needs and wants are better than us. Still would evaluate some options as to possible graphics upgrade or  psu and other stuff before considering a tablet, But if that is what is going to be the best option for you .then go for it.

Dang guys, nice wins lately. I haven't been entering much in the way of computer related contests lately but have had some small wins in other contests, A couple movie tickets, a Future Shop gift card and an Options gift card - which will help for xmas gifts :)

thanks Neil and ManduHH  what is  with the AMD folks was that I sent the the signed affidavit in on Wed AM   >> heard back from them later in the day  and received the HD 7850 on Friday AM from Texas [Fed Ex]  that is WowZers fast imho .. :)

@ManduHH hope your cleaning project went well [non-suk]  after all a busted faucet could help in cleaning scenario depending on the situation.

As for the upgrades, i did plan to do a new build this year but then since im in college there really is no use for a desktop. So the SSD will either go into my laptop (but  i don't think i will benefit from it/put it to good use), or be sold to fund my  tablet(but then again would be it any better then my laptop?, it would just be handier for class). Maybe stuff the SSD in the tablet xD. Do you guys think the surface pro is going to be any good? or any tablet for college in general?

Yes it did sort of help, since the kitchen was soaked anyway, I figured I might as well clean it bahaha

Been pretty quiet on the contest front for me lately. I did win a Thermaltake Armor Revo Gene Snow Edition case and matching Frio Ock CPU Cooler from Thermaltake's Lucky Poke contest game last month though.
