omegadraco:

I got a Battlefield 3 code from Mass Luminosity a few months ago so I doubt it is fake.

Nice find on the Kitguru contest.

I've won a Dirt-3 and Deus-Ex code from them so far,......someone else on our site won a Video Card from them too.

So I won again.

3rd. Place in a contest on another site.

Here's what I got,......

3rd Prize: includes Prizes from Kingston including one HyperX USB 120GB SSD Bundle, One HyperX DDR3 8GB Kit, a XSPC Rasa CPU water block, One Xigmatek 700W PSU, and 3 tubes of Innovation Coolling IC Diamond.

Just a quick update for you. Xigmatek never delivered on their prize pledge of the 700W PSU. I don't know why either. They refused to discuss it with the website that had the contest and with me. Seems to me they shouldn't offer prizes in contests if they don't intend to deliver them to the winners. It makes them looks like cheats.

Everything else got to me and it's all top notch Geek gear too.

They still haven't sent prizes out for a contest from xmas time on another forum as well.  Xigmatek doesn't seem like a trust worthy company :(

Last Fall's contest. I'm wishin' it was another win of the same loot! LOL! I'd love to have two of the HyperX drives to run in a RAID configuration.

I posted this because I realized that I never "outed" the jerks on their nasty actions and decided to get it done now. This is a direct reflection on their integrity, or actually, their total lack of it and it should be known.

Congrats on the Batman Game win. I also won it recently, but have not touched it yet.

They should be outed for not acknowledging a winners prize and leave the site owners holding the bag. After all a lot of effort goes into any community for a giveaway / contest , the sponsors get some positive publicity and many times kinder remarks about their products than would be deserved in other circumstances.Sincerely would like to see this guy get his prize from Xigmatek too, After all his avatar reminds me of a cousin of mine and panthers in the Baltic deserve there prize delivered to them.

**** Wait till you see that Batman Game ! :)

I used to chat with Xigmatek's rep on Facebook a year or so ago, but he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. They never even updated their FB page to Timeline.

They do deserve to be outed... What is terrible is some of their products are actually pretty good and they are making themselves look terrible.

Hey Neil keep on them about your prize... the one I was talking about (from a Christmas contest) was finally received in the mail by the winner. I know yours is from earlier but hopefully if you keep asking it will eventually make it to you.

I like the rhymes, so keep doing that.

Congrats on that drive. I'd like to have one of them.

I just got a 750GB USB 3.0 External Toshiba drive and it's pretty darn fast as well.

People are talking up LightPeak or Thunder Buns of whatever it's called, but this USB 3,0 is plenty fast for me. It's beginning to see a lot of adaptation and the prices are not anything like the new Thunderbolt costs. Even a new Thunderbolt CABLE costs a small fortune.

I'm not gonna buy into it.

I ain't even gonna rhyme about it.

Wow, I didn't even recognize you LOL.

Seriously, I think the rhyming is excellent. I feel like I have to dig out my decoder to figure out what I'm reading. It's fun!

This would be one amusing contest if the qualification required an 'honest'   Wink comment as to why they should win the rig. lol

But we are off to a pretty good start !

thanks omega and neil and you bet these keys are a keeper !

When I first picked it up I was surprised how heavy it is,   This keyboard is solid ! Sure looks to me that CM certainly nailed it with bringing quality mechanical keyboards at an affordable price. It is a compact layout and these have the black switches.Come to think of it when I first put my paws on the CM Spawn mouse I originally thought that it was a bit small for my hand , but I really like it . The other thing about the compact keyboard is that it puts the mouse in a tighter [closer ] position that will likely be more comfortable for gaming. At this time I don't really miss the keypad all that much, others might  >> so check out the CM Storm QuickFire Pro (Cherry MX Brown) Gaming Keyboard.

Pretty sure that Marco recommend the browns for me at one time, and very happy with this one compared to the Razer Lycossa which I had for over a year.
