Hmm... i'm really not liking where they've put the 24 pin mobo connector... Right on the top!!
They should have put the RAM slots where the sata ports are and vice versa
Very nice, I could see this in a beautiful HTPC. It would be curious to know if they plan on releasing an Intel version of this board. It looks like it has a nice built in dual tuner as well :)
That's not a tuner, those are plugs for wifi antennae.
I'd tend to agree with that, though there are sometimes a myriad of reasons why layout traces have to run a certain way.

Any word on price or availability?
@ omegadraco I was thinking the same thing. This would make a great HTPC.

it's not for sale anywhere that I could find yet. It's not even displayed on ASUS's website as of a few minutes ago. I agree that it's a nice looking board though.
Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live.
Can anyone confirm if this board definitely sends audio via HDMI?
ps sorry to resurrect an old post, and thanks in advance
I know that the HDMI standard says that full digital audio is a part of every HDMI connection.
And while (I don't own it) I can't say for absolute sure that this board is compliant with standards, my ASUS F1-A75-V*Pro ~does~ have it included in it's HDMI connection.
ASUS has a good track record for cleaving to standards.
cheers for the input :)
