We're well into summer now, and that means lounging in the backyard in your hammock, catching a tan (and some eye candy) at the beach, bar-b-ques, and all that other stuff that's fun to do in nice weather. And then reality hits -- you live in the midwest or some other locale that constantly interrupts your summer plans with rain and other bipolar weather patterns. Screw it, you might as well lock yourself inside and fire up a PC game (turn off that console, you weenie).

If that describes your situation, or if the weather's nice but you'd rather get your game on anyway, Steam has your back. Today marks Day 2 of Steam's Summer Camp Sale that runs from June 30th until July 10th. Each day brings a new assortment of titles marked on sale, with half of today's sale items marked down 75 percent. They include:
  • Grand Theft Auto Classics: $7.49
  • Just Cause 2: $4.99
  • Train Simulator: $8.74
  • Braid: $2.49
  • Might and Magic: Heroes V: $4.99
  • Knights of the Old Republic: $2.49
You can also snag Call of Duty: Black Ops for $40.19, a 33 percent savings over its regular $59.99 price tag. And that's just some of the deals listed today.

This is realy cool of steam. For every game you buy you earn a ticket and each ticket enters you into the give away and allows you to spend them on ingame items. The giveaway prize is the top 10 games on your steam wishlist.

Just Cause 2 for $5. Now that's really sweet!

I'm going to reinstall Steam on my computer just for this.

Sweet cannot beat some cheap games even if they are not the newest :) It seems like steam is always running specials like this.

Steam is a good deal, and has a lot of good deals too. I like how the games that I've tied to steam always update themselves to the latest versions and patches too.

Dogs are great judges of character, and if your dog doesn't like somebody being around, you shouldn't trust them.
