Those of us on the bleeding edge, noticed that the Linux 3.0.0 kernel hit the Oneiric 11.10 pre-alpha repos today.  I'm working through troubleshooting a couple of bugs to report, but for the most part it seems to be working well.

What part of "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" don't you understand?

Probably this X-mas shopping season.  Unity should be polished by the 11.10 release in October, so manufacturers won't have any qualms about shipping it.
