Drake_McNasty:
What kind of laptops do you use? I imagine it was quite the process to choose a model that would hold up to school kid abuse.

We are using Dell Latitude 2100 and 2110 10 inch Netbooks currently and boy do they suck as far as the build quality is concerned. Thankfully we have the full damage warranty on them for the 3 years we lease them. It all comes down to budget unfortunately with school computers though.

Personally I think a 13 inch machine is the ideal balance between weight and functionality for these guys. I am just happy to know that with the next lease we do that we are not going to have to worry about batteries as much since so many companies are focused on the battery life. I am seeing many machines with 8 hours of battery life and our machines only need to last the 6 hour school day.

That chassis is just made for a modular PSU in any build ! who wouldn't use a modular PSU .

Lot's of room in back of the mobo  for some  very neat cable management.YesThis chassis is the sweet combination of modern aesthetics and function.& Still looking forward to the vidcast of the build.

I suspect that anticipation for who wins this bad boy is ridiculously high.

I dunno Lbowen when I win it might be hand delivered... lol I like the custom green on that TT GT 10 though I prefer blue. I can't image what playing games on a modern system would feel like it has been so long. Having a kid really kills your spare change and has cause my agreement with my wife that I get to build a new computer every 3 years when we got married to pretty much be null and void...

It's going to be shocking to say this but just holding the PC that I won in the box is all I need. Just holding the box which the PC is contained in makes me envious as hell.

That thing is so tidy-and just look at this state of me...How could I have gotten baked bean juice on my shirt in two places? I didn't even eat any of it. I didn't cook it, I simply transferred the pots and pans from the stove to the sink. I was yammerin' instructions about which Scout Shirt and shoes were needed as we were heading out the door, but clearly there was not multi-tasking going on when the cable management was done on that rig. Focused Goodness 4 sure

A Major Award! "Ah you should see it from out here!"

Here's a short video of me receiving my last major award.

No, this rig won't be going on a desk or worse some floor by a table...Nope, this baby is going in the front friggin' window right where a FRAGILE Major Award Belongs!  Click on the leg just like Ralphie did-and enjoy a 'lil taste o' Christmas on the first day of Summer!

I tried to get the Doc to save mine when they amputated it. I wanted to turn it into a lamp just like that with the switch on the big toe.

He wouldn't hear of it,.......
