I know what you mean I just finished collecting my 800th laptop from students before the school year ends so I can start getting them all fixed up over the summer.

That's actually a good idea. I really hope you use the TV on top as the monitor for your mod.

Commodore 64 anyone... If I remember correctly it used a TV as a monitor.

That was the plan unfortunately you're trying to mix ancient technology with the latest and greatest, you run into so many problems. I did some reasearch and telstar actually acquired the rights to the predicta line and produced updated, colored versions but they're not cheap. however, these older ones are worth a pretty penny in working condition, luckily this one was free! Neighbor was throwing it out and I immediately took it lol.

I think I had one of those, I still have a Vic-20 though. LOL here's your external hard drive! hahah

What kind of laptops do you use? I imagine it was quite the process to choose a model that would hold up to school kid abuse. I agree with you guys I'm ready to see Marco's build vid!
