does it roll? I could see a lot of indoor uses, such as mentioned before, but rugged terrain might render it useless, although I'm not sure how it works. For about the exact same price, I would go with the stage zero dolly, by dynamic perception.

This is on a ball and gimbal, requiring just one tripod, and interacts with your camera's exposure and shutter controls too. I thinks it's bitchin' and would love to have it.

If it could hold the larger broadcast quality HD cameras like the Canon X1 then it will probably have a good following. If the motors give out on anything larger than a DSLR then I really dont see much need for it.
Well, I like the wideness and the extra functions of it. If I had a DSLR camera then this is what I would be buying along with it.
As realneil said, the ability to take HDR pictures and move the camera 360 degrees is a deal breaker for me.

Ah, I see. It sits on a tripod. That is pretty cool. The only reason I brought up the stage zero is because I'm saving for it ;) but this is about the same price and very cool as well. The hdr bracketing isn't as big of a deal for me, because I can set it up on my camera, but making 360 panorama shots would be cool.
