Hi Folks,

This is just a quick reminder on our new voting system at HotHardware.com (the main site, not the forum).  With YOUR valuable input, we're trying to build a database of "leaderboard" products.  These are products or perhaps even just an article you like here at HotHardware.com, that will be voted up by YOU.  If you like something, look for the voting button at the top left of every full feature article page (not news items).  Example:

Clicking on the "VOTE" button here (top left author/article index area of all feature articles), will populate the "Hot Products" widget tab on the top of the right margin on the site!  This, right here:

So again, now, YOU can have a say as to what you think are <HOT> products and if you don't think something is all that, then just don't vote on it.  Otherwise, get voting! Cool  This feature is for you folks.  It only allows us to tailor future content and product coverage to what YOU like.

Thanks all and thanks for spending time with us at HotHardware.com !!!

At the end of the reviews, you should put a press vote above if you liked the product to remind them :)

Hmm...  maybe another vote button in the same relative location at the bottom of the pages?

We don't have voting enabled on the news items, Manduh, sorry! It's just for the full product reviews. Smile  That said, maybe we should get that in for testing?

Definitely, the news items are my favourite to read.  I get a good chuckle out of some of them :D Especially the G-Point mouse thread, I still go back to read it once in a while, it always has me laughing!

Well technically you CAN vote on your favorite news items now by commenting on them, which pushes them higher up on the Hot News items list in the widget on the right hand margin.Big Smile
