Sorry Rapid,

Dont know any Hellers? I have only been here on Oahu for about  2 1/2years.  I will probably be back in Cali. before the end of the year!

SO? Fat is going to pay more for plane tickets, than if he just called up Cyberpower and bought a custom rig, just so he can steal?

And Inspector is going to get a good job with FedEx only to commit Grand theft,...Larceny...and Mail fraud, all Three,.. federal Felonies? Well I am sure most of us here do not support this type of liberal criminal activities, I am sure it might work if you are members of congress!:P Yet, first thing Inspector, I believe you have to be 16 to have a drivers license(that's in the farming states) Then you also have to be @least 18 for a job like that (probably 21?)

Personally, and I am sure Hot Hardware agrees with me....don't condone these types of criminal activities!

Maybe when you guys start dating, you will understand that good things come to those who wait:P

Gotta say, it's a little disheartening how the comments were almost radio silent today, now that contest is over. We're launching another one soon but I was hoping folks were genuinely more engaged than this.

Dave_HH:
Gotta say, it's a little disheartening

Sorry to disappoint you Dave, but I'm running around getting ready to do another project in my house. We need to try and make the place accessible for me and my wheelchair. (long way to go too) We'll never pull a loan to do these things, so we save like crazy and when we can afford the next step, we jump on it before something happens requiring that money. So it's off to Home Depot, Lowes, and even WalMart for the last three days and two more to come,.................

My daughter's Father-In-Law just had emergency open heart surgery 3days ago, and while we're not at his bedside, we're the ones taking care of all of my daughter's pets while they are. So it's back and forth between the two houses (35 miles) 3 or 4 times a day to get it done.

We also have a 6 day trip coming up to Pennsylvania to my wife's parents house. (think BF-Egypt and then a little farther away from everything) I'll be effectively gone from connectivity for most of that time.

I love to be here on the site, and enjoy the back and forth with everyone too, (knowing that for me, winning isn't in the cards again, and that's OK with me, because it's only fair that way) but I have to do my "honey-dews" every once in a while.

I'll be back next week, gunning for the lot of ya! (or sooner if I find a way to connect)

Neil

Hope everything turns out OK! To bad you are on the east side, I am a really good carpenter! I could even go Mc Guyver on your house and knock that ramp out for ya with probably a few street signs and park benches!

As for me I have posted a little, but nowhere near the usual level. We are pretty much through moving (I still have a few boxes to go through) now. I am about to leave and go find some local employment. Either way at the new house my desktop is not really set up yet, as my massive L desk does not work here. I actually have it set up in the kitchen now (for the first time), but it will not stay there. I need to get a new desk, and the internet currently although wireless is set up in the bedroom. My Cyberpower beauty has no wireless, and I would rather have gigabit wired anyway when it is finally setup. So I either have to run cables downstairs, or put a new desk in the bedroom. I could as has been suggested also set up an office in the basement, which is completely unfinished. I am not really wanting to do that, so my posting is limited largely by other factions or events going on right now.

Yeah, Lots going on. I'm a fair carpenter myself and can build anything that needs to be strong and windproof. Finish carpentry eludes me though.
Funny you should mention park benches, I have three here. The town of Stanley, VA has seen fit to already provide the streetlight too. Ha-Ha!

What we're gonna do soon is to enclose my back deck with some "Suntuf" Polycarbonate wind proof panels to mitigate the effects of the weather. Slow it down a little if you will,....so Darlene and I can use all of the exercise gear that we just put out there throughout the winter months. We can dress warmly and still do exercise if the wind isn't peeling the skin from our faces while we're out there. Although it won't be insulated, we can fire up a little heater if need be too. Maybe I'll post a pic of the deck before we start and one after it's done.
Another kinda funny thing (but not really) is that last night I posted as to our method of saving our cash until we can afford to do the next project because we refuse to pull a loan and remove the money buffer we've built up over the years. We make a little more than we have to spend to survive each month, and we save it as much as possible. Something came up last night after I posted and we may have to use a good portion of our savings (project money) on it. This involves taking back the materials that we just bought over the last few days.

So I guess that my point is, "you can make all of the plans in the world but life has the real control and can change them at will."

As to a smartphone,....they don't work properly where I live,........
