I don't think I would trust first generation Wireless Display technoligies that can output High definition. I know they've had them for a while, but only recently have they upped the range, and bandwidth to allow for HD streaming. The next time I get myself a new home theatre system (probably won't be for another 5 years) I will stick with the good old trusty cables.

Now, I tested 3DTVs on a Sony booth a couple of weeks back. So far, I am not impressed at all. They are going to have to do something to make it worth my while because as of now, it is nothing but a gimmick. Wireless is a existing technology that has limited uses.
It would be nice to mount the TV to the wall, and have an outlet placed behind the TV for the power cable.
Then I can have my AV Rack where ever I want(as long as it's close enough to the TV to send the signal) and it'll be easier to hide cables and do cable management.
Or I could just do the extra work and run everything through the wall lol

I'm amazed that someone could find the bandwidth to do this, and in a way that doesn't interfere with anything. We shouldn't be focusing on the 3D but focusing on the fact that these people are able to find ways to transmit high bandwidth stuff wirelessly.
Besides, Kyouya. The way they implemented 3D is a gimmick, the RealD method is the one that works the best but I guess they want to sell those glasses to make a profit.
"The future starts with you; now start posting more!"
You really like that RealD stuff huh taylor? lol
Personally I want to see all 3D go away :-)
I might be able to live with it if I wasn't required to wear glasses :-)
I still havnt seen a 3d movie yet and have been wondering what they were like so i have been thinking of going this weekend
Well, you should at least try it, so you can form your own opinion... but I warn you... don't get your hopes up. lol
acarzt, what's your beef with RealD. Sure it's been overblown in recent years but it's the best 3D solution aside from Red & Blue; the reason I'm saying this is because it actually shows the images in 3D and it doesn't give you a headache, sure it darkens the image but that's a non-issue for me.
Oh, it's not that I have a beef with RealD... it's that I have a beef with all 3D lol i'm not just picking on that one. I want them all to go away. I don't like them :-)
We are not going to start another 3D thing are we!
What are you going to stream that one movie they have out so far?
I don't trust streaming, and probably never will. I am a minimalist so cutting it down to one cable is fine with me!
Pretty soon they will have streaming jumper boxes so you can basically high jack your neighbors signals and record them to a HD and playback at your convenience!
Whoa whoa whoa now tom.... they have like THREE movies now lol You were off by like 300%
Sorry....Forgot, the two Porn movies...Sorry!
