The order of the posts are different in the forums than in the comment section of the article.  Maybe that's what messed you up.

Inspector:
Why do people come in and say i want to win? then i never see them again

You need some time on your hands to be successful at this. A good dose of dedication is also in order. Many of these guys just happen to find the site, see the contest and think that one or three posts will get them a brand new computer. Why not post a few times? I don't blame them at all.

Marco and Dave just may surprise us all one day and award one of these systems to one of the 'Hit & Run' posters! The recent Eyefinity winner (JturnBull)  hasn't been back has he? (if so, then I apologize, but I haven't seen him) To be fair, his entry WAS certainly a winner and I think that he won it fair and square, but he's gone.

In the end, It'll go to who they decide it goes to, for their reasons and by their methodology. They say to post, we post. Personally I don't think that Flaming chiding anyone is doing any good for our chances. Maybe I'm wrong.

Some of us are lucky enough to get their attention, and that's cool. The fact that this opportunity even exists is tremendous!

Good Luck to all of you Scurvy Dogs! Tuesday you'll know who it is this time!

@ realneil you are spot on. Yea the last winner had a great presentation on the eyefinity but "Loyalty is everything" as the Gambino family would say. I am not hear for a handout, I truly enjoy this site and all it has to offer.

I got help right off the bat here with my question and that goes along way with me!!!!!!

Good luck to all.

I've been trying as hard as I can but it seems July is a very slow month for news; I don't know if I contributed as well as I did to be included in their sweepstakes.

And that's the key. Try and don't stop trying. Don't get frustrated and give up.

In time, it will probably happen as it did for me.

Yeah, women are like computers, one way or another you have to pay for it, or else you end up playing with yourselfStick out tongue

Although, I have never paid for it! Never needed toCool I do see the sailors on the corner here in waikiki, literally spending like drunken sailorsDevil Which is just sad, In wartime our military should not have to pay for it! To me, that was once know as a war profiteer!? I have been lucky in that department, yet... always have to pay for the computers!

So I agree with you Neil...Never pay for it! Yet Acarzt is a prime example of winning and still having to pay for it? That is why he said if he wins, it goes to his girlfriendStick out tongue  SO if he doesnt, then he will need that 500 dollars to keep her happy with nights out on the town. Or else he will be fraggin MMORPGing by himselfGeeked Personally, I would use it to be more productive and have the ability to produce faster and secure more work . In order to make her happy, although she already is, without the need for a Pos-T-VacIndifferent

So on behalf of our wives and girlfreinds...Thank you HotHardware and CyberpowerComputer...From all of usYes

@Tom,

Wilted Flower  It's never, ever, time to pay for it,......never.  Wilted Flower

Not because you're ugly or handsome, or rich or poor. Not because your 'wee one' is really wee, or not even if you go to parties and sit around 'licking your own eyebrows' to attract attention.

You never pay for it because it makes it less and not special, like pooping or something.

If it has no heart or feelings to it then it isn't worth doing. Especially for money.

Also, if someone wins this, then it's over, right then and there. If they want to donate it to the relief efforts in Haiti or give it to the one who has their heart, it's no business of anyone's but the winner. Giving it to the significant other is really a smart move, but I'd strip it down first! Yuk-Yuk!.

OK Neil, you put way to much thought into it :P

What works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. I never have had to worry about the wee one, or a hell-no face :) But there are others out there who need to obtain things like Bentley's or Rolex's in order to attract others in their hunting routines.  Winning something like this should be just as special as having to save up for it yourself! Yet some people still look at it as just another toy, like pooping! They will just do it again?

We are all prostitutes in one form or another, if you have never done anything that gained you a paycheck or received "special" favors in one form or another, then I would tend to agree. Then you would probably be some Buddhist monk living a solitary life from birth, in the hills of Tibet. I just always try and do what is right for me, and help others the same way. Then hope that others are just as happy. Kinda like this contest, we all just have to hope and see what comes our way. yet like dating you get what you pay for, one way or another :( So don't say you have never had to sit through a chick flick?!
Besides, if my SO, wants it she better strip down first...Yul-Yuk ! Devil

We all just hope for the best and see what comes our way. My dating routine and philosophy on life has always been like Hudson in "Aliens" .... because if you don't play you cant win, or loose? You kinda have to walk into it and see what comes your way, So go in and say ....

"Come on! Come on! Come and get it, baby! Come on! I don't got all day! Come on! Come on! Come on you @!%#$! Come on, you too! Oh, you want some of this?"

If that fails just say "Game over man...Game over....!! Why don't you put her in charge......":(

Good luck to all, You will know before me since the time difference from New York, to the middle of the Pacific :P
