This isn't surprising, mostly because since the iPad came in the scene, tablets have been the thing. While a netbook is pretty portable, the tablet can basically do more. You can watch your movies, use the touchscreen in a productive way and it also doubles as a book reader. It can do virtually anything as long as the designers of these machines know how to implement the right features. While a netbook can only be used for accessing the net. A tablet can be used for anything, including for home and work use. That's what makes a tablet so great, it can be used for basically anything.

I find this tablet 'movement' surprising. If I wanted to block my view of the screen with an input device, I'd use my monitor as a mouse pad.
Thats what I have been saying since 2001:P
