That's why you don't move electronics when they are on, especially one with a DVD drive and a HDD.
Common sense is not so common anymore!

SPAM-posters beware! ®
HA! :P, but from some videos i saw on Youtube the system it self is very unstable. with even a touch it will wobble :), not sure if it is enough to scratch the disk or not though :)
That guy was a complete idiot.
Epic Fail?
There were warning labels all over the console so I guess the guy is an idiot. Epic Fail to him.
"The future starts with you; now start posting more!"
DVD ROD...lol

That sucks. Man if a earthquake was to happen that would be bad new.
ROD POTS, spelled backwards?
Dor stop :P
That guys an idiot? Really? For expecting the console not to trash the disc if moved? My car plays compact discs and DVD movies all the time, and doesn't ruin them even if I hit a pothole, why should this console trash them from being tilted?
My PS3 doesn't do that, and I've never seen the Wii do that to a disc, even when my kids kicked it over (which they've done about 800 times pulling on their wired gamecube controllers... to my horror).
Microsoft typically makes good input devices - why does their console hardware suck so bad? (Spoken as someone who got one of the original XBox's with the Phillips DVD problems, and a 360 that died to the RROD)
I submit the counter-argument that there's no reasonable precedent that would lead anyone to believe that tilting the console while in use would cause hardware damage. And, this guy could not have been expected to read that tiny sticker in such a quick demo - They should have nailed the thing down if it was so fragile compared to previous 360s.
What part of "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" don't you understand?
++++++++++++[>++++>+++++++++>+++>+<<<<-]>+++.>++++++++++.-------------.+++.>---.>--.
No reasonable precedent for this? Of course there is. The original XBOX 360s did the same thing: http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/news/Xbox-360-Game-Disc-Scratched.htm
Just adding a little comment on the new Slim Xbox 360, PC Perspective has done a tear apart for it. So if you want to see what it looks like nekkid click on.. Since everyone is just copying each other, MS and Sony add motion controls, Sony and Nintendo [with the new DS 3D] add 3D When does the Wii get a Slim model?
My personal favorite thing about this updated console is the auto shutdown feature it has when it overheats. Rather than listen to customers complaints about poor cooling and come up with a better cooling solution they put this little gem in.
