I wonder now what kind of tech goodness is coming up next? Marco and Dave always seem to come up with something awesome. I just don't know how much further you could go than this.

Hmm 3 SSD's and a 5970 mega (one of these newly released reworks), or two. Or even one of those new liquid cooled Nvidia cards and a 5970 on one of the multi card boards, and all liquid cooled.

Then a OLED display or a couple LED (top end (imaging) screens). Well I guess there are many ways to go. I wonder if me and gibbersome will be eligible to compete now (I know 3vi1 is out at least on the next one).

Well off to do some Algebra, I hope everyone is having a great day! Grat's again 3vi1 on one of the very best systems I have ever seen given out, period!

Oh maybe the next one will be a 8 core AMD one or something unseen from INTEL :)

So we have SuperDave to thank for that?

Thank You! Great job Dave! It is nice to know that you are the one blocking those spammers when they come on. I wake up and have like fifty thread updates in my mailbox, it was kinda frustrating not knowing which ones where legitimate:)

They never said that prior winners were ineligible to compete for the next/upcoming prizes. As far as I know they haven't set limits like that. But we all kinda assume (most of us who have won recently) that we were not gonna be winning back to back butt-kicking computers anytime soon. I figure that they'll continue to spread it around a little. (what I would do if I was making the decisions) I think that they'll try to make it as fair as possible for everyone who takes the time to participate in a meaningful way.

Of course if one of our Waka-Waka's wants to clarify, then please, feel free.

rofl, very true I guess, as I have never heard we are or are not eligible either. So that assumption may be totally wrong, and just that. That is also "as to my assumption" the correct way to do it "spreading the love". Technology just moves so fast today that the next system given away by our "Waka-Waka's" as with this last give away, in some aspect a totally different device, than the previous one.

That is also not to mention most if not all of us are tech junkies or we would not be here in the first place LOL. So it is hard to curb the enthusiasm!

My guess would be that previous winners are still eligible, but that the chances will be somewhat heavily weighted against them in relation to how recently they won. Even being a "regular" here, I wouldn't expect my name to be tossed into the hat for at least another three to five years.

You know what the worst part of winning is? We always *know* that the next contest rig is going to be even more of a killer system. :)

I don't think we are ever counted out after winning. I won a Pentium D and motherboard at the end of 2005 and I won a Core2Quad system in September of 2008. So I think we can always win again down the road. That said if I won another system soon I would honestly feel bad about. Share the love.

Yeah Bob and 3vi1 as well I guess eligible with quotation marks right. As for 3vi1 statement about knowing the next contest rig being more of a killer system, I totally agree they always seem to be better. I just wonder where it will go next?

I think my delivery guy must be related to the UPS people that left all the Pandora boards in an empty lot.  My son got off the bus to find a big box from iBuyPower on my doorstep today.  I guess I'll count myself doubly lucky now, since no one walked away with it.

This is much earlier than I was expecting to see it arrive.  If the system's as fast as iBuyPower's delivery, then this is going to kick ass.

As luck would have it, my digital camera's battery is dead, so I'm waiting to open the box until it's recharged.  It's not that I necessarily need the camera before I open it, but watching my son endure the wait accords the kind of entertainment usually reserved only for parents on Christmas eve.  Yeah, I'm evil - surprise.

Hopefully I'll have some pics of the grand opening to share later tonight or tomorrow.

Dudes: I just realized one more thing that I do which might help your chances of winning:

I tag almost *everything* I write. I'm sure that the powers-that-be want the site to be easily searchable for relevant material, so I recommend adding tags to pretty much every single post you make.

If you could add a "because 3vi1 said so" tag to each post, I would be especially amused. :p
