That's why meaningful contributions mean more then one worded responses. It's obvious that if you want to win that sweet-ass PC then you have to contribute your input into other subjects.

This is pretty close to a dream system for me. just sayin..

Nice that HH opened up the contest to our friends in the great white north, might be nice if a Canadian won.

Nice to see that Canadians are allowed in, but not unexpectedly, we Europeans remain beyond the pale. OK, I can understand that shipping costs, etc, might place restrictions on to whom H H can extend its contest offers, but please then understand that diatribes against ad-blockers are also rather irrelevant in these cases, as the ads blocked are designed for consumers in the US and Canada and hardly have anything relevant to say us....

I meant fan them on facebook and follow on twitter. You could like some of their posts and post comments on facebook, or retweet their tweets on Twitter if you want to, but that's up to you and may not be necessary. It's pretty cool interacting with them on Twitter though so I'd recommend it.

Like rapid1 mentioned, HH is the best kept secret on the web and it's been awesome to its members (just look at the number of giveaways, TechVi Podcasts, blog posts, etc). Anything I can do to get the word out, I will.

Indeed, that's what I meant. You've been a very consistent contributor to this site. It's about quality over quantity.

And I'm going to have to agree with Clem, when you're replying to two different posts on the main news page, it shows up as a double posts within the forum. 5 is a little cringe-worthy, but I see where he's coming from.

I just ordered a much reduced system from this one. I would gladly cancel that order if I won this one. I normally build my own, but if you price these systems out, you usually cannot build the same system for the prices they are selling them, at least this company and another similar company.

So what did you order?

Aside from a custom painted case, I think in general you should be able to build your own for the same price, if not less. Unless they have some amazing suppliers.

If you think you can’t do something, you’ll never be able to do it. No matter how easy it is.

Ya i would like to know what specs you have planned to buy and how can you not build the something for less? For one thing ibuypower is a business that of course wants to make money there is no way they are going to sell them for that much less... Or as RyuGTX said they could have some AWESOME (Don't think so) suppliers...

Wow thats a pretty system though a little garrish. It looks like it has everything anyone could want in a computer though. There don't seem to be a lot of women here, I don't think I saw any actually. Well I saw a link on Facebook for this site. How is everyone doing :)

Well the new members seem to still be coming that is good. Yes as Inspector said bbdl it is a little more than just joining the discussion it can take some work, glad to see you though as I am all the new members. There are some women around, the count is much lower than the men though for sure. It seems there are less women in general into technology like we are though to. Please note I am not making any assumptions with that statement.

Well it seems as if I might be scarce for most of this contest if things work out. Not that it matters anyway, but I have a contract proposal in another state which may run for at least a month. I will be around, but much less because my web activity is going to be concentrated on school when I have free time.

Of course it's not locked down yet either so it may not happen! We will see, but if it does come through the pay is too good to turn down, not to mention it is working for the military on what I assume is a new VA hospital.

I agree with that statement ddayjason, winning this syetm would be very nice. I could really use it as well, my teen age daughter dominates the PC a lot more lately, of course she is 12 now. So she has a lot more to say, and is much more inquisative. There are many dangers on the web I guess especially for a young girl but she is visible when she is using it as well. This would make that much easier though. The more active computer users there are the more you need, not to mention summer break from school is coming up as well.

I just noticed this.... It includes the ASUS U3S6 USB 3 & SATA 3 add-on card. I didn't realize something like this existed until I saw it yesterday at Micro Center. I think this is pretty cool, especially since buyers don't have to pay the price premium for motherboards that offer that feature natively (specifically thinking of the Asus P6X58D Premium which costs over $300. Add-on card only costs around $30.

Yeh, I guess sticking it under the desk or in a closet would save me from having to get a can of spray paint. Or is it supposed to look like a toy?

You could just switch out the computer cases if you really don't like the design.

This is great...friendly banter between two winners!

Y'all must be able to post your quips really fast on those new systems :P

I agree with Rapid1, I joined for the system Gibbersome won. And found I was having to much fun with all the mutual Geek speek! This is way better than Facebook, and you don't have to put up with all those posts about what little Johnny did in the bathroom after taco Tuesday.

The biggest plus is being able to win some killer booty! All we ever get from FaceBook is broken security, and government oversite :O

It's not a surprise actually. More so it's a chance to win a powerful PC with the coveted $1,000 Intel Core i7 6-core processor.

How I wish I could win that system, and the stuff I can do to it.

If I had a mind-blowing fast system like this - I could process photos and video of my quite-hot girlfriend much more efficiently. This would be quite an upgrade from core2duo! If I win - I'll post photos of her with the system!
