"You agree not to install, use or run the Apple Software on any non-Apple-labeled computer, or to enable others to do so."
Users who are having difficulties getting a specific device to work correctly on their machines would send in their component to have it certified. The most common hardware set-ups are compatible, and through PsyLabs we will continue to work toward the Rebel EFI supporting an ever-broader range of hardware profiles.
Not sure on the legality of this, but it's pretty interesting. I have wanted to play with OSX for a long time, but I am not going to go out and buy a mac so that I can see what it's all about. Buying a copy of OSX is a bit less painful. I tried the OSX86 route once on my netbook, but it resulted in a OS without sound or internet.
They're gonna crash and burn eventually. Apple will keep after them until it happens and you can count on it.
They have no right to sell access to the mac platform and buying into their crap is only going towards paying their lawyers mounting bills.

It won't last. You can bet money that Apple will release updates that determine OSX has been installed in this manner, and somehow restricts what you can do.
It's a shame, because you would think they would stand to make more money off the OS if it wasn't propping up their hardware business.
People read the stupidest things. Like this sig, for instance.
I expect to see a Mac OS-X for PC one of these days. It will be watered down a little and will still run Windows in a box.
Heh-Heh!
So Psystar is gonna sell their own reverse engineered EFI-x product which has been available for a year or so now? meh..
