By claiming that competition exists in markets where, due not least to Microsoft's monopolistic practices, there is none, the company is probably trying to shield itself from investigation of these practices, a possibility which seems to be creeping closer. Let us hope that the strategem is not allowed to work !...

I very much hope you prove prescient, 3vi1 ; Microsoft - and above all we users - need some competition in the OS market. I wonder what the release of Google's Chrome for netbooks will bring in its train ?
