As mentioned above.  Spoke with Marco about it before we had the Tournament, but haven't heard anything since then.

I thought Bob was, but didn't know der was.  I can only remember the old mods like bibite and viper.  I think you guys should be marked as a mod.  Also, are the mods still divided by section?  I remember that that was a new thing before the forums were updated.

No. Really all I do is delete spam. Not really many jerks around here. In the TF2 servers the mod duties are a bit more demanding.

The moderator tags got deleted somehow along the way.  We have to re-upload them and activate them again.  By the way, if you're interested in moderating, drop me an email or PM:  davea@hothardware.com

Thanks,

Ha I know you do. I do like the SPAM man you post if you get to it before one of us. It makes me lol.

Also I am ok with or without the mod tags. No big deal.

There is a lot less spam on the boards now then there used to be. The Chinese spammers used to hit every few days, but it has been a while since I have seen one. Probably you mods are deleting them before I get to see them! By the way, I like your new badge, Bob!Big Smile

Hey I just noticed that I have been made a mod. I was wondering where the extra sections on the main forums page came from. Hey Mental did you just become a mod too or were you always a mod?

And Dave you have 2 Admin tags under your sig. Does that mean you do the work of 2?Stick out tongue

So I guess we have 4 active mods right now. Der, Bob, Mental and me. Am I forgetting anybody? I know there are other mods but no one that I can think of that is here on a regular basis.

On another note I justed noticed that I have now been active on this site for more then 4 years now. It really doesn't seem like that long. But 4 years is a long time especially since I have never been away for more then a couple weeks. This site must be like crack or something cause I don't think I have ever been an active member of anything consistantly for that long.

I don't ever want to be a mod - someone has to keep me in line.

Besides, remember the saying:  "Absolute power corrupts (your hard drives) absolutely.".

Maybe not.
