I appreciate the thought, but I never was able to get the expired demo to work - so I'm going to pass.

There is probably someone out there that needs the system more than I do anyway.

Holy crap, I clicked on my name and i've been a member here for 6 years!! I knew i've been coming to HH for a LONG time but I didn't realize it's been that long heh. Funny thing is I remember visiting this site too, long before I became a member :-P

And I feel pretty nerdy for this but HH has been my home page for a LONG time :-x lol

Your choice 3vi1, but we are also willing to help folks get setup with a copy of the full game, which will be required to play.

Also, I think you're just having an issue with the demo expiring. If you set your system calendar date back, it should work.

Even if I got it working, I've got an old man's reflexes, one good eye, never owned any of the Quake or Unreal games (FPS + me usually equals motion sickness), and have no motherboard that would be compatible with the 4th runner-up prize. Heheh...  

So, let someone else have my spot.

This is going to make me sick but I going to have to forfiet my chance! I havent play games since I had brain surgery but my cognitive thinking skill and reflexes are non existant  now! I dont have the ability to focus on things. Its really bad and I dont have a chance  or the software much less a connection!Im sorry if I put anyone through xtra stress for me entering but I even misunderstood  the contest too.Im really thankfull that I got picked but I really dont have the ability to compete so give my slot to someone else that can and deserves it! 3v1 and AMD: don't throw in the towel just yet. I am sure there are plenty of people here that would be willing to play in the tourney for ya and let you keep your gear that you deserve for winning. I would if I wasn't already in it. Maybe Davo could even hook the "SUBS" up with a free t shirt or flash drive or something for being good sports. Of course it's all up to the powers that be but as a contestant I am perfectly ok with this. Anyone else want to second this notion.

Edit: oh yeah, almost forgot, thanks guys. I am pysched. can't wait till the 29th. guess I should be checking the calender though and let the wifey know that she's not allowed to make any plans for me that evening.
