Heres my system informaiton:

ACER Aspire M1100

Microsoft Windows XP

Home Edition

Version 2002

Service Pack 3

When installin ANY driver relating to my Graphics card Asus En9800gt first the install goes fine and makes the packages to the location C:\Nvidia\WinXP\181.22\ENGLISH ( OR Any other version other location, this location is from this driver http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_181.22_whql.html

Finally it goes to install the driver. and gets the error.

The error from this driver: The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.

When I put the VGA DRIVER CD in to my computer, the whole cd wont automatically start nore will it start when double clicking it! After I go manually to the install programs theyll start fine! But then it automatically goes to the install program which installs the driver for WINxp64 and the same error apears:

Ive tried the windows program add device. It wont find anything.

go tho nvidia's website and download them directly. You would need to do that anyway to ensure you have the most up to date driver.

Yes I have downloaded the latest driver to it. It makes the packages but then it starts to install from the package folder the driver.

Then it says

Can you give me help like how to forceinstall or do I have to do something in BIOS or what can I do?

The Aspire M1100 that I looked at HERE has a Radeon X1200 onboard graphics solution. Are we talking about the same system, Kamikaze?

No I have a X1250, its integrated. but now I installed the driver again for it because Im going to wait until the day Im going to the shop, and theyll going to fix it somehow. The man who sold me it said it should support Windows Xp home edition. But theres this problem. Maby its in the Bios which is messed up...
