Looks like a very good card. I have to agree that the $100-$150 market is cram packed right now. Thats not a bad thing for us though. Maybe the price will fall quickly. At $100 this would be a must have.
I prefer nvidia myself,but since our $ in Australia fell to U.S. 0.62 cents I may try this ATI card soon.
By the way,since I have a XFX 280 XXX on order for $699.00 cents.Delivery and credit card surcharge fees comes up to $735.00 and that was the cheapest price online I could find before our $ fell to U.S. 0.62 cents.I will stick with this order,but I have been waiting more then two weeks now for this shipment to arrive in Australia.So if they can not keep their commitment,then I will try this ATI HD 4830 even if it will cost up to 3 times the price in the U.S.

Nice review. Though I'd be interested in seing how it performs compared to the Radeon 3870 which costs only $100.
