    AMD/ATIs new MultiView for linux

Have you fellow linux junkies seen this? I have not been a fan of ATI linux drivers, however this looks really good. Reminds me of Nvidias linux multi monitor setup. I'll give it a try on my 4870 in a day or so.

Re: AMD/ATIs new MultiView for linux

Maybe a dumb question, but anyone know how to get three monitors to work in Ubuntu?  I have two Nvidia cards and easily get two monitors to work, but never could figure out three.  That would be the deal sealer for me.  Loved Ubuntu and LinuxMint, but couldn't deal with the lack of that third monitor.

Did you use nvidia-settings? If you type sudo nvidia-settings into the command window it will pop up nvidias control panel. Its much better than going through ubuntus settings. I can also help you edit your xorg.conf file and get it working for sure.

I have tried everything under the Sun with no luck.  It's been a while since I tackled the issue, so maybe I will dive in and give it a whirl again.  When I do, I will reach out to you for some assistance.  Thanks for the offer!
