    Running Slow

I've had this PC for a friggin' month, not even that... About three hours ago I had to reinstall Vista becaue I got some Trojan from a Torrent, lol. Instead of the 32 Bit version I used last time, I'm using the 64 bit version and WOW is it slow... Oh ya, that and World of Warcraft still gives me the same Memory Read error... wtf man.

You probably have horrible drivers. Make sure you have the most up to date releases from the manufacturers' websites.

Have you tested your memory yet?  Oh yeah, and make sure you test the voltages from your PSU and test your hard drive, I've seen both cause really slow issues when it seemed they were working fine.

    Re: Running Slow

I just checked some stuff in DX Diag and my CPU is underclocked.... For some reason the new install of Vista isn't reading my CPU at the correct speed...

run something taxing on you cpu and open cpuz and see if the speed jumps up. it could be the power management.

    Re: Running Slow

Well scratch that... I don't know which ones broken, the RAM or the MoBo... It appears to be the RAM but I'll see if I can get another stick in there to see if it's really the MoBo... My friend threw out the boxes too, so an RMA is out of the question.

Did you check to see if maybe you need to flash to an updated BIOS?
