Same here but i think we are gonna have to stay on them hard after that because realisticly some front page time is gonna help but it's up to us where it goes from there....but it should create some buzz after that we have to substane that buzz. That was why i wanted to get the conversasion started now so we can have a idea as to how to achieve those goals i set. Lets remember that for now us 19 active folders ARE the folding team so we need a game plan to expand our Folding power so we need to get creative as to how to reach these benchmarks.

We really have made HUGE steps.

By the way speaking of people who said they would fold what happened to you Marco? Whisper

You know someone else i happen to know just might have some idle cpu and gpu cycles on their hands  that we might be able to plead with to fold?  ( hint hint )  They call him SuperDave Wink

If just those 2 would join the fold based on what Marco  and SuperDave has would be another 14,000ppd  or 98,000 a week and on the month would be 392,000 points or a little over half of the sept points goal i set. So it makes that 1.7m very achievable Big Smile

Well folks the hours are slipping away on this contest and i just wanted to point out what a geat job everyone has done. The team has really shown the potinetitial we all have as a competitive folding team having the limited #'s we have and putting out the ppd we have gotten together.  I'm proud of all of you and humbled by the contribution you have all made. My hopes are we can raise our #'s and the awareness for our beloved team. We have a great group and I truly apprecciate all of you for all your work and i feel i have made a few new friends during this contest. May we continue to raise the bar for our team 32407....Fold On HotHardware!!!!

I am also very proud of everyone. At the beginning I though I had it in the bag. Everyone stepped up and put me in my place though. I think next month I will post a lot more WUs. My girlfriend is convinced that the folding clients are what broke her windows install.Angry So I think I have her almost convinced to using them again. I have my rig running 24/7 SMP and GPU2 now. It was down with the watercooling install and the whole drip fiasco. Soon I'll have the new rig folding. Davo shot me a email saying they would have it build in the next few days and send it out. So next month should be a good month for me. I think we can reach are goal. Everone has done a great job. Oh and you have for sure made one freind.Wink

Well I just lost a gpu client on my main rig. Until I can figure out the drivers errors. I am goin to shut it down for a lil while hopefully a new update will come out soon that way it will fix it. I have had 2 today alone.

It has happened while folding and also has happened after gettin out of certain games as well. I have redownloaded the driver, I have even went back to an older one but it still happens. Also the card is oc. I have even ran on stock settings and still gives error.

Is that a cuda driver or a nvidia driver. I have been using the cuda for my 8800 GTS.

Gents, I've had to stop working with the GPU client as it causes serious crash issues with my GF GTX 280.  Not sure what's up but it might even be heat related.   Tongue Tied
