zombiemaster:

Looks like we hit the monthly record Warlord was shooting for with room to spare Big Smile

On crossfire, this is from the new GPU2 documentation at F@H:

"If you are running multiple GPU cards with SLI or Crossfire, you need to unlink the cards by disabling SLI or Crossfire in the driver control panel. Also, you need to extend the desktop for the client to recognize the cards."

Yes We Did Team!!!!!  We are nearing and end to the contest and i'm proud of what everyone on this team has accomplished. Thank you all Big Smile Gonna be interesting to see if transam can mount the come from behind with the new rig and squeek out a win over zombiemaster....its gonna be close folks. Just a few more days and someone's getting some frontpage goodness...good luck guys

Nothing better to set in a cpu then a good old burn in!

I have been tellin people about it.  Its hard to get them to fold unless we go to there house and just install it ourselves lol. But I will say this for how many people we do have I think we are doin a great job. I mean were not at the top but we have been moving up and we are all doing it for a good cause so cheers everyone. Heres a Beer for everyone. Lets go team.

Its been like being a miget trying to climb everest.Wink Its slow but we are holding our own and its a good show.Big Smile 19 with this kinda of ppd isn't bad at all.Yes We are doing great but i would like to see alot more of the 21,000 HotHardware members folding. If only 10% would fold we would be in the Top 100 in no time. I'm just not pushing the Folding Team hard enough i guess.  So our new goal for the month of September is to get 10 new folders and a total of 1.7 million points .Just 10 folks it shouldn't be to hard for us but we will need to get inventive.

So to recap we will need 600,000 points over last months total points and 10 new folders. All i can think of is to start making realistic goals each month and try to meet them. If any of you have a suggestion of how to get some more exposure  and possibly get the new folders we need to the folding team, i'm all ears  Also keep in mind should we not meet a goal its not the end of the world but as long as we push to meet em we will gain traction in the ranks

I agree warlord we have done alot with the lil we have had. Dang I didnt know there was that many members of board. But you know they could be folding but prolly for another team. Goals are good and if we dont meat them we just have to keep thriving to meet them. Also the only other thing I can think of on recruiting is hitting some of the other forums that arent folding and recruit from there.

On a side note what happened to larac??

Same here but i think we are gonna have to stay on them hard after that because realisticly some front page time is gonna help but it's up to us where it goes from there....but it should create some buzz after that we have to substane that buzz. That was why i wanted to get the conversasion started now so we can have a idea as to how to achieve those goals i set. Lets remember that for now us 19 active folders ARE the folding team so we need a game plan to expand our Folding power so we need to get creative as to how to reach these benchmarks.

We really have made HUGE steps.

By the way speaking of people who said they would fold what happened to you Marco? Whisper

You know someone else i happen to know just might have some idle cpu and gpu cycles on their hands  that we might be able to plead with to fold?  ( hint hint )  They call him SuperDave Wink

If just those 2 would join the fold based on what Marco  and SuperDave has would be another 14,000ppd  or 98,000 a week and on the month would be 392,000 points or a little over half of the sept points goal i set. So it makes that 1.7m very achievable Big Smile

Well folks the hours are slipping away on this contest and i just wanted to point out what a geat job everyone has done. The team has really shown the potinetitial we all have as a competitive folding team having the limited #'s we have and putting out the ppd we have gotten together.  I'm proud of all of you and humbled by the contribution you have all made. My hopes are we can raise our #'s and the awareness for our beloved team. We have a great group and I truly apprecciate all of you for all your work and i feel i have made a few new friends during this contest. May we continue to raise the bar for our team 32407....Fold On HotHardware!!!!

I am also very proud of everyone. At the beginning I though I had it in the bag. Everyone stepped up and put me in my place though. I think next month I will post a lot more WUs. My girlfriend is convinced that the folding clients are what broke her windows install.Angry So I think I have her almost convinced to using them again. I have my rig running 24/7 SMP and GPU2 now. It was down with the watercooling install and the whole drip fiasco. Soon I'll have the new rig folding. Davo shot me a email saying they would have it build in the next few days and send it out. So next month should be a good month for me. I think we can reach are goal. Everone has done a great job. Oh and you have for sure made one freind.Wink

Well I just lost a gpu client on my main rig. Until I can figure out the drivers errors. I am goin to shut it down for a lil while hopefully a new update will come out soon that way it will fix it. I have had 2 today alone.

It has happened while folding and also has happened after gettin out of certain games as well. I have redownloaded the driver, I have even went back to an older one but it still happens. Also the card is oc. I have even ran on stock settings and still gives error.
