Who knows maybe we can talk em into given you folks a mention on the front page when the dust settles( Can't hurt me to ask.) Also to be far i will exclude my self from the Total PPD over 30 Days since i do put out near 18,000PPD. Good luck and i will do updates here till the end. Fold On !!!!!
Been down for a few days but I'm back, If your not in it I think I can take the total PPD over 30 days!
where dp you get the PPD's from? alls I see is total WU's which I only have 10 since I got the software a week ago.My computer stays on 24/7 though so I guess my old outdating hardware just ain't cutting it.
Don't feel bad Nelson. I am in the :Too slow to see it move" bracket. I have about 1.5 WU done over the last week. I do admit I have to close it while gaming, but otherwise it's running.
One question. My client says I am folding for team 32407, but I don't see my name in the team stats. Not even the last place. Anyone know why this might be?
EDIT: Better watch out Nelson. If your ISP sees that 24/7 folding traffic they might throttle you. (Just in case you are downloading the latest Britney Spears CD)
I used to carry a hammer in my computer tool kit. Just for fixing the packard Bells though.......
If you are refering to the stats page with extreme it somes takes as much as a week to get on that list. To the other question the linkage ^ for extrme stats is where you will fine the ppd 3rd cloummn is 24hr ave thats the ppd tab.
Also for those that wouldn't mind. Please post the specs of what you have folding for the team so i can make a log. For example here is my list.

warlord: Also for those that wouldn't mind. Please post the specs of what you have folding for the team so i can make a log. For example here is my list.
My folding rig:
Sempron single core 3000+ @ stock speed, 3 Gb DDR2 667, 8500GT@ stock speed
Necro are you running the gpu2 client on your 8500Gt ? It would give you a solid 2500ppd jump
No. I admit I haven't spent as much time learning about the Folding project. I'm getting lazy in my old age. :) So many things I want to do and so little time. I'll look for it. I am a bit worried about taxing the GPU though. having read a lot about the issues NVidia is having with this family of chips. I will download and run it though. If I kill it, it's a good excuse to grab a 4850!
EDIT: I am looking all over the Folding site but I can't find a download link for GPU2. Only the Windows GUI and command line clients. Goy a link?
You bet here ya linkage As far as 8500gt's failing i have yet to see it happen. Not to say it won't but the defect is really only affecting mobile chips it seems

Its at the bottom of the page. The Nvidia problems are from the chip warming up and cooling off rapidly so you would have less chance of it braking if it was warm all the time. The GPU2 gets many more points that the cps even dual or quad cores.
LOL. I just found it. Thanks though. Sorry to put you to the trouble. NVidia is SAYINGit is only mobile chips but their is strong evidence that it is ALL of them. We'll see. As I said any reason to get a 4850/4870 is good enough for me. I just have to figure out how to pay for it. :)
Maybe one of us folders can win that rig give away . Be a nice increase in ppd
sounds like a great cause wish my computer was up to the task to fold
frg1: sounds like a great cause wish my computer was up to the task to fold
Bob is right. Anything helps. If my lowly Sempron 3000+ single core and 8500GT can chug along and fold, so can anyones. :)
Warlard, I have the GPU2 client running now. Thanks. I can't start the regular client now though. I noticed my CPU is stilled pinned at 100%. Does the GPU2 client use the CPU as well? Either way, I am folding about 3 times as fast now. Thanks again.
Team 32407 FTW!
