    1.5 gig modules; that's different. 3 gigs in dual-channel!

So NO dual-channel?Sad Perhaps it would be better to purchase a couple of 2 gig modules for the added dual-channel bandwidth increase and just forget about Windows not recognizing it all. Of course if your board doesn't do dual-channel then get the 3 gig kit!

While thumbing through some of the ad flyers that come in the sunday paper I noticed that alot of new desktops are coming with 6gb now.

a cpu, a board, some ram, a gfx card, an opty, a hdd and a psu... all in a case

     That's a 2 and a 1gb stick- http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator_new/PartsInfo.asp?root=&LinkBack=&ktcpartno=KHX5300S2LLK2/3G

Wonder why no one comes out with 2 -1.5 gb modules.Seems like a no brainer.Does anyone know if it's possible to

engineer such modules.Maybe they don't want to cut sales of 4 gig kits.
