    KVM switches - which one?

     Hi

I'm after controlling just 2 PCs using one mouse/kbrd/monitor. I believe a KVM switch is what I need but I have a few reservations.

    - My mouse & Kbd use USB dongles, so wondering how well they would work (for example) inside the switch (some switches have cable covers).
    - although my monitor is a flat screen, it uses a standard 15 pin VGA connector, so although it would seem compatible with many swicthes, I'm not sure if the Flat screen connection requirements would add any issues.
    - I've seen a switch that states it works with VGA monitors that have "coaxial cabling" (is this the standard for 15 pin VGA monitor cables), and that they work with both Macs, and SUN computers (my PC is not a SUN computer) so it would seem this one is not for me, perhaps...?

can anybody give an opinion on this please? :)

    Many thanks

Welcome to HotHardware, Zarker! Troll NewEgg's website for KVM SWITCH and read some of the CUSTOMER REVIEWS posted there. That should give you a good idea of what might work for you.

Well - maybe my questions are a little too vague for a forum. Thanks anyway.
