    Different Vista Versions

    What is the real difference between the different versions of Vista ? Ultimate,Home basic, home premium...Ae they just for show or is there a notable variation between them?

    In short, for a better description go the the Vista website. 

    Ulitmate: All the bells ans whistles

    Home: Just short of Ulitmate, I think the best for the price

     Basic: is well basic with out aero, which is what vista is known for.

     Also the 64 bit versions allow for so much ram like

    Ultimate - 32 GB of RAM
     and then I dotn remember the other ones.
