Scenario One, skeptic: Hmm.  It's a little early, but maybe they are true.  Also, no AA or AF?  Could ATi be hurting here too?  I don't know... we'll see...

Scenario Two, it's true: Hell fraking yeah baby.  Up yours Nvidia!  I may lean towards AMD in my personal tastes, but regardless it is good to see a swap once again in leader performance.  It's good for the industry.

But we shall see.  And I'm also curious about pricing.  If it does perform that good, don't expect it for under $500, unfortunately.  My fanboy self would be so excited if it was $400 or less and it really did perform this good.

The language is Turkish, and there are no language translators for Turkish that I could find, and believe me I searched hard core after reading about this supposed fake benchmark.

Everyone seems to to think that this is a fake, but I sure hope that it is not..whether it is or not will not affect my decision to remain loyal to AMD/ATI though, for many reasons. The main reason being I believe in AMD and think they need and deserve my money more than nRAPEMYWALLET does.

I've seen this before, although I do not believe in it that much. I say when it comes out and we see some official reviews, that's when I am going to believe. So far AMD sucked, and if they can get their next GPU to be this fast, I'll be impressed. 

AMD doesn't suck...they have great products at very good prices most of the time and keep competitive a price war going. The picture quality on ATI cards have been better the nVidia on most of their cards for many years.

I remember not so long ago when nVidia was complete crap, cards and drivers. I personally have never had but one small period in 7 years where ATI had glitchy drivers.

Always have had nothing but problems and driver issues with nVidia cards, and the graphics were never up to par compared to most ATI's offerings.

ATI has done a great job for the small company they are versus the big nVidia corp.

If anything, nVidia sucks for charging out the ass for minimal performance gains and overly hot running cards that have higher power consumption.

Meh, its ok, we will just wait here in suspense and remain hopeful.

 512 MB ATI beats out 1 GB Nvidia and its Nvidia's dual card! ATI is giving Nvidia a run for its money!

 Great news for AMD. I hope to god these aren't fake, would love to see AMD take the driving seat for a while. Just to confirm that Google Translater says it's Turkish.

I have a good feeling about AMD this year, and a better feeling throughout 2009!

I have no idea how reliable The Tech Report are, presumably about as reliable as a Chinese motorcycle. Don't believe it until someone else confirms from a reliable source or confirms The Tech Report as reliable. Imagine if it were true. This would make this the best year for graphics cards since the the 9800 v 5900 days.

lol i would hope it'd beat the 9800gx2 too bad it won't be beating the gtx260 and certainly not the gtx280.  but we'll see how ati contends against those with the 4870x2 i suppose

Hmmmm well this would be awesome. I have a few things I wonder about with this though. OK first this is a single GPU beating a top of the line Nvidia dual GPU. Although from the specs I've seen it is GDDR5 which would somewhat explain (more than double the mem speed over GDDR3) it. Plus another thing is the test system is a core 2 extreme. Which would lend to the thought that if the performance was high enough in the graphics that it would make the cpu the bottleneck. Then I'd think wow if a core 2 extreme dual or quad core is the bottleneck we need a new motherboard and processor top end and bad.  Anyway I hope it's true because I am a ATI fanboy and have been since I got my first all in wonder card (say on initial release in the first system I built personally - pentium 2 400 a month b4 it hit the retail market) (god I'm getting old)...................................

We wouldn't mind a little competition from Ati to get lower prices in both cases :)

But, still, I am waiting for the official reviews to make my move :)
