    Ceedo vs prayaya v3

Ceedo and prayaya v3 both have advantages over the other..
Ceedo has more "configurability" to it than prayaya v3, BUT, I like some of the apps for prayaya v3 better.
In my opinion, prayaya v3 is much better than ceedo.

First ,Ceedo doesn't leave no traces on the host computer while PRAYAYA V3 does (it is very important in the line of work i'm in).

Second, the biggest advantage is the many apps you can use on the prayaya v3.

Third, sometimes long loading time with ceedo gets me angry while prayaya v3 not .

I bought prayaya v3 and I am more than satisfied.
    Just my opinion.....

    Ceedo vs prayaya v3

We can’t say that both alternative gives much better benefits each other. But if we need to make a general comparison, Ceedo is better with its most-support and prayaya v3 is better with its speed.

Re: The Portable OS Review-----U3, CEEDO, Prayaya V3 and MojoPac

I haven't used Prayaya yet, so I can't comment on it. I am downloading it now to take a look at it.

That being said, I have used Ceedo for over a year and can comment on it.

In my opinion, Ceedo is an excellent portable applications environment. Sure, it is a little slow in starting up from a USB flash drive, but this does not detract from its usability, or from the huge amount of applications that can be installed and run from within the Ceedo environment. During the time I have been using Ceedo, application support has improved to the point where I can almost duplicate my PC and carry it around with me wherever I go. The only thing I have installed on my PC that can't be installed on my Ceedo drive is Visual Basic.NET 2003.

I have Office 2003, FrontPage 2003, Ulead PhotoImpact, Image Mender, ACDSee, and a ton more apps all running from my Ceedo drive. If it weren't for Visual Basic .NET, I wouldn't need to have any software installed on my home PC at all.

Another huge plus is that Ceedo will run in both XP and Vista without the need for admin privileges. I use Ceedo at work all the time, and our work PCs are locked down really, really tight.

Ceedo also has a very good online applications repository. Sure, there are only a little more than 100 apps in their programs directory, but these apps are all useful, and Ceedo seem to have taken pains to keep their list tight and keep out the less useful apps that clutter up other online application repositories such as download.com, tucows.com, etc.

I can honsestly say that Ceedo is well worth the money you will pay for it, and I would not hesitate to recommend Ceedo to anybody looking for a way to make their work environment portable.

Ceedo does vitalization better than any other program I've used (except maybe Moka5 portable VMware.) programs install and run almost flawlessly across the board. However... The licensing scheme does not support all drives. If your drive is not supported, you can pay for a license but Ceedo tech will refuse to give you one and ignore all requests for a refund. You better pay through PayPal or you will never get your money back because you will have to make a claim with PayPal.

I'm sure it's valid, but for me it stands for waste of time since Norton has NEVER failed me... at least not to my knowledge.

Yeah I don't run antivirus everyday though. Once a week scan then I close it.

Mine use to be. I havn't got a single virus since I got vista. I just figure if I'm safe online and what not then I'm ok a with a once a week scan.

I do use things like WOT and I have windows defender running all the time.
